Who We Are
Two people who know East Africa deeply Safarini grew out of years spent living, travelling and working across East Africa. We built it around the places we return to, the people we trust and the relationships that allow us to take guests further into the region.
Oli Raison - Co-founder
British, Oli lived in Kenya for fourteen years, much of it in Laikipia and northern Kenya. A lifelong traveller and explorer, he is fluent in Swahili and spent years adventuring on his motorcycle beyond the established routes, building a deep knowledge of the country and the people who know it best. He works directly with clients to understand what they are looking for and shape each journey around them.
Boris Maguire - Co-founder
American, Boris moved to Kenya in 2015 and now lives with his family in the Lolldaiga Hills, Laikipia. He brings extensive experience of operating across Africa and a particular knowledge of northern Kenya, its wildlife, conservancies and communities.
His local network and operational experience allow us to take you on the most ambitious and rewarding of journeys.
